I just bought a 93 MX-3 that had sit for a year and a half. The guy fixed it by installing a new fuel pump and it fired right up. It ran fine, I bought it, went put premium gas in it, then gumout fuel treatment, hour later it dies! Any suggestions?? Tomorrow during daylight I will check to see if there is spark, already checked for gas pressure and it was fine. Help me please. If it is firing then would my injectors be fouling and how do I fix that??

 

Check your fuel pressure then if it is low replace the fuel filter if the pump IS running, if it sat that long it may have sucked up some crap from the tank and plugged the filter.
