Well my check engine light came on the other day, and I was reading how to check the codes..... Jump the GRD and TEN, and turned the car to on and its suppose to flash well nothing flashed and the light is still on......any ideas?

 

What kind of car do you have and what model year? Might try just jumping the TEN to negative battery post and see what happens there.

 

its a 1996 or so i was told my bf says its a 1995..its a mx-3

 

It makes a difference. Look at the VIN (vehicle ID #) on the dash and look for the tenth digit from the left. If it is a "S" then it's a 95...and a "T" for a 96 model.
