AT light check engine light help!!!
Hello all!
I am new to the Mazda community, just bought a used 2003 Mazda 6 automatic trans 2.3L less than a month ago.
For the past week I have been experiencing a slight lag in gear shifting. Last night I started my car and the check engine light and AT (Automatic Transaxle) light reared their ugly heads. This morning (the AT light has disappeared) I took it to Cottman transmission and they gave me multiple codes and said that my transmission is fine but there is a problem with my ECM processor, which has subsequently caused throttle codes to show up. Here are the codes:
P0606 Mazda - ECM Processor Failure
P0607 Mazda - Control Module Performance
P2108 Mazda - Throttle Actuator Control Module Performance
P2102 - Throttle Actuator 'A' Control Motor Circuit Low
P2101 - Throttle Actuator 'A' Control Motor Circuit Range/Performance
P0442 Mazda - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected Small Leak.. This code he said that I should deal with after I get my ECM checked out, but has anyone had problem with this as well?
The tranny specialist referred me to a mazda dealer and I am anxiously awaiting my appointment in 4 days.
1. Has anyone else had a similar issue?
2. Does this sound like an expensive fix? (I literally just purchase is used vehicle )
3. What would cause any ECM to go bad?
4. Any advice?
