Mazda MX-3 and Mazda MX-6 These two sporty models have become popular cars for import tuners due to the availability of parts, the low price, and the smooth lines.

Default '95 MX3 Can't find the fuel filter or fuel pump

This is a 1.6 L. I took the back seat out because I saw something on youtube. I removed the first plate in the middle, then removed the screws in the next plate but I don't see how you can remove it. It has two tubes coming our if it connecting to hoses. I see no way to remove this. I may heve the wrong place altogether or possibly there is some way to get this thing off? I'm hoping someone on here knows what to do. Thanks in advance. I've had this can since it was new!

Did you get cover off? Should have been like 6 tiny screws that want to strip easily.

Yes, I found it and replaced it. Turns out, that wasn't the problem. Now, I think it's the TPS (Throttle position sensor). Waiting for arrival from Amazon. BTW, yes, the cover was a pain. It seems that nothing is easy on this car!

Happy to hear of at least one other MX-3 on the road. a couple things are easy spark plugs and valve cover . if you are running or idling rough, make sure you all plugs are getting spark. I can't tell you how many times that has been an issue with me, before and after engine swap and megasquirt. This car runs decent even on just 2 plugs but will idle terrible.

I changed the plugs just recently, so I know what you mean. Thanks for your input though.
