Default 93 mx3 GS Running Like ****!!!!

okay so the other day when i switched the plug wires it starded runing awesome! till i went through a 2 foot puddle maybe the timing belt slipped a tooth? failed the dizzy cap? and suggestions to check would be a big help its sluggish again and just today started getting hot?

2 foot puddle!
Check wiring harness near bottom of engine including O2 sensors, hope you didn't suck any water in to the intake!
MAF sensor could be wet. Remove it and clean it to get rid of crud.

okay so i ran the code and it looks like its pulling up the Lh02 sensor which it was not doing before i went through the water so there is a universal fitment one at the autozone next to my work im gonna go grab it and put it on so i can go home!!!

I would have cleaned it first before replacing it.
Teh water may have left some dirt on the sensor. The sensor compares the outside air with the exhaust gases. If the outside gets dirty it will malfunction.

i havent replaced it im out of $$$ till tomoro and then im still not sure what i should do i want to kill this car!
