hi I'm new to the forum. I just traded for this '92 MX3. It was running and driving great for about a week. I put some different wheels on it and repaired a brake caliper. Then the other day I'm driving and I step on the gas and the engine sputtered loses rpms and dies. Starts right back up drive ok the. Sputters and dies.
I changed the fuel filter and am having the same issue. When I start the car it's idles around 1100 or 1200. When it get warm it idles around 900. I'm going to try to clean MAS and throttle body. The car is a 4cylinder. Apparently the original engine was swapped with a protege 1.8l. Any ideas? Thanks.
