Arrow Strange behavior from 2000 Mazda MPV LX instrument cluster

We have a 2000 Mazda MPV LX and we went to crank it up today to go run some errands but noticed that the instrument panel wasn't reading anything, even though the engine was running. No revs, no temperature, no fuel level, no speed reading, and the odometer wasn't displaying any mileage or the gear selection like it normally would. We disconnected the negative battery cable, then reconnected it, and everything reset and the instrument cluster worked fine, until about twenty minutes after the van had been cut off. After that, the instrument cluster died again, and we noticed the interior lights didn't come on when we opened the door like they normally would. The van starts and runs, despite the issues with the cluster, and there are no codes associated with the issue. Does anyone know what's going on here? Help please!

Default 2003 MPV Instrument Cluster

I have the same problem. Did you get anywhere with your issue? The only other thing that happened to me is that the event happened at the same time I shattered the rear window on the passenger side.
