I just bought a 2001 MPV with a 2.0 lt (1988cc?) engine and an automatic box. It drives nicely but the gear selector lever is a bit sticky and requires some care. Is there any method of loosening this up? It also has a tendency to surge into a lower gear unecessarily when accelerating. I can live with that but my wife isn't going to like the sticky gear selector! Any thoughts?
