Hi! I actually was a very active member of the site for years. The people who were running it just kinda stopped and I kept adding to it, but then one day it was flooded with ads and porn links popped up in the forum so it had been tampered with. I reached out to the people running it to say if they needed an active moderator that I would be more than willing to step up. It went down for a while and then came back up, but not long after that more ads popped up. I am thinking the Server people put it on hold until somebody who actually ran it would respond, but after a certain amount of time I guess they took it down. I KNOW its still out there, but unless I can find who to speak too in order to bring it back up, Not sure what to do. I have a 1998 mpv all sport and a 2006 lx and they are both very active. I'll keep trying! If you guys find out anything, let me know I very much do want to get the site back up as I know people still driving their MPV's!

I Did find this though, Someone did at least think to put it on here..ITs only in the archived format and they were able to get some stuff but the site went down before it could be archived. If anyone had any emails, Id like to reach out and see if I can get it back up.

I wish you luck in tracking someone down to get it up and running again. I tried, but never heard back form any of the moderators. I was able to enter the mpvclub site through the photo gallery (gallery.mpvclub.com), but it didn't work when I tried it right now. Not sure, but it may be gone for good. When the MPV van was discontinued and the site traffic declined, the financial incentive to maintain the site also diminished. I posted quite a bit in there and I hate to see all my work and others work disappear. My '06 MPV was totaled last year but the mpvclub site is a big part of why I held on to the vehicle for so long. Almost any problem I encountered was documented in there. I liked the mpv enough to consider another one, but with the site gone there's less incentive. I guess the lesson for me is to not waste time posting to niche sites that may not have longevity. I should have posted in this forum instead.

Just found this forum, supposedly signed up/signed in, but not sure that it actually works. I have a 90 MPV 4x4, and LOVE IT! I'd be glad to throw my hand in to help moderate too, should anything come of the efforts to get this back up and going. Been turning a wrench for almost 30 years.

You are in and joined Mazda forum.com not the one that has been talked about in this thread.
You may want to start a thread in the new member area to let everyone know that you are a new member? Not everyone will read this thread about a defuncted Mazda mpvclub now obviously dead or not serviced by the owner.
We have a nice section for Mazda MPV members if you go look.

He's offering to help bring back the MPVclub forum, because it contained vastly more useful information and posts than this site does for the MPV. There will never be a significant body of knowledge about the MPV posted on this site because the model is discontinued. The other site was superior in many ways, and it's sad that it's gone. If it hadn't died, I probably would have acquired another MPV to replace my wrecked one. Nothing wrong with reaching out on an adjacent forum that may attract the attention of someone with connections to the owner of the disabled site. I hope he's successful.

Better do the research. the owner seems to have a banded that forum. Unfortunately, unless the original owner gives the passwords the forum cannot be fully recovered if even a part of it. They are private property you do realize. There is a website that hold a vast amount of information about closed forums. My own forums I was surprised to find about 35%of the years of information and pictures.
You might try Facebook... ;)
