Exclamation Interior lights not working

Hi everyone,

I am attempting to fix a 2003 MPV that has an interior lighting issue. When either of the passenger doors get opened, the lights don't come on. Also there is no open door indication on the instrument panel, and when the van is unlocked with the key fob, it locks back up even after the passenger doors are opened.

What I know to this point is that fuses seem to be okay, there is no power in the RF door switch, nor is there power in the wire a few feet away. The RR door jamb switch wire shows 5 volts but doesn't work. In comparison the working LF shows 13 volts. The door ajar light in the instrument panel is working.

Everything is working normally for the other three doors.

I can't seem to get the interior wiring diagrams either. Autozone has others but not the interior ones.

I'll take all the help I can get, and thanks in advance!

Thumbs up

SOLVED:

A pin in the wiring harness to the passenger's side had disconnected causing the power loss.
