My set/coast works- but the resume/accel doesn't. Why? easy fix?

Default RE: Cruise Control Trouble

Hi again zmanzke.

Problem has to be within the actuator switch itself which is part of the wiper lever assembly. Both functions use the exact same 5 volt input wire from the cruise control module as well as the same ground wire. The difference is just in the way the switch changes the 5 volt input by routing the voltage thru either a 910 ohm resistor for resume/accel or a 240 ohm resistor for set/coast.
Replacement of the wiper lever assembly is going to be your only way to get it all working right again. Wish I had cruise on my 323. Sure is handy on long drives.

Well, it is all working now. The fuel pump/sending units getting fixed next week, that was a bear finding one where I live.
