Towing with 06 MPV ??
Hi all,
we have 06 MPV with the tow package. We have a tent trailer (2135 lbs dry wt) and (3000lbs GVWR).
We are concernerned that our MPV will be able to handle towing at capacity with 2 kids in the car.
If we load the trailer to max @ 3000# then we have 500lbs left in the van for pple and "stuff" befor the van is towing at max. That's cutting it pretty close.
Does anyone out there tow with their MPV successfully. Will we be OK?

I use a 2006 MPV to very easily tow a tent trailer with1400 lbs dry wt and 2100lbs GVWR and the trailer has no brakes.As far as handling and braking capabilities, if your trailer has electric brakes you could probably tow yours with no problem. Remember that manufactures play it safe and leave room for safety when theydetermine thespecifications.
