I own a 2000 MPV, the pipes to the rear heater are badly rusted, the Mazda dealer wants 5 hours labour plus parts to replace. The previous owner could have had them replaced under a recall no charge, but didn't. My question is can the output and return line be plugged or does it have to be looped together near the engine for proper circulation.
