help amp bypass

To replace the cd player with aftermarket one... Do you have to bypass the amp?? If so is it hard to do???the car is a 99 with 2.5... thanks

in the back of the rear seat in trunk remove carpet and take the harness of the amp then run four speaker wires fromharness to radio dont cut harness hook it back up
