Ok, we have a 2004 MPV with front and rear A/C.

Rear A/C is fine, always works, gets really cold.

So we can rule out a compressor issue.

On the Front A/C System, the fan does not start with the vehicle, sometimes it comes on after a little while onthe road. However, the longer we have this problem, the less likely it seems the A/C Fan will start.

I saw one post here that said to check the Cabin Air Filter, but I can't find that in the Owner's Manual.

Any other suggestions or ideas?

Sounds like the brushs in the fan motor are worn out. Turn it on and bang on it under the right side dash. If it comes on put a motor in it. If not you need to pull the connector to the motor and check for power to it and trace backwards. Relay,blower resistor, fan switch and related wiring.
