Hello all! sure wish I found this site a year ago!!

I need some help, I have a 2001 MPV and its engin light is on. AutoZone said the code is P1518, Definition:" the VTCS stuck open-Variable Tumble Control Solenoid" Probable Causes: 1. VTCS vacuum solienoid stuck open 2. short circuit condition or 3. Failed VTCS solenoid. Can anyone tell me what this all means. The last time I had an engin light on w/ this car the catilitic converters burned up cost me $2100

I also have code P0106 showinig up are they releated?
