I just picked up an 01. I really dont know much about this particular car, its been sitting for about a year and a half and still has all of the old gas and oil in it. There is supposidly some engine work that needs to be done, although it does turn over when you start it up. The engine has a little over 127,000 miles on it, not sure where to even begin with this project....just looking for someone to point me in the right direction..any ideas?

 

start with a fluid change, including the gas. then, replace the spark plugs and see where you stand from there. you may be able to get it to fire by then.

 

My mistake it is a 96, we got it to fire already but its blowin a ton of blue smoke out the tailpipe...have not checked the spark plugs yet. Any chance there is a problem with the compressor?
