We picked up our new true red MT gt 5 door w/moonroof & bose and cargo area tray yesterday at PJs in Burlington Vt. Got S plan pricing and an extra $500 off for a total $19865 out the door +1.8% for 3 years, works out to $566/mo no downpayment or trade. We're getting almost 5% in our mm account so we decided to finance the whole thing. Seems like a decent deal. After an early dinner and a couple of brews we had a fun ride (90 mi) home. We like the handling very much, makes our 2000 VW Passat GLS seem a bit sedate. Were replacing our other car a 97 VW passat TDI with 269000 miles still runs good and gets 45mpg but it just felt like time for a new car! Hopefully we made the right choice, if not we'll trade for another diesel in a few years.
Has anyone purchased the factory shop manual? I like to do a lot of the maint. myself. Any leads on a good source for parts for Madzas would be appreciated.
