Default code P1504

i have a 1995 millenia S 2.3L.......the CE light came on and the code read P1540 which says idle speed control etc. and it jerks as if the tranny is about to fall out..it wont let me hard accellerate or go certain speeds. it also wont let me rev pass 2.5 ....but if i were to cut the car off and wait about 2 minutes more or less the check engine light will still come on but it drives new again....wat is goin on..ive been reading sum of the forums but the codes are different.....PLEASE HELP Lol

where are you getting the code scanned? first off, you got wrong info. that code is specifically abv control system malfunction. if the abv dont open, i am sure the ecu will see overboost, and initiate fuel cut, which will make the car do what you are describing; it is like hitting a brick wall. i would bet that there is more than 1 DTC. whomever/wherever gave you that readout needs to be avoided.

i scanned my own car and that code came up, but i figured out sumthing.....if i cut the car off and restart the engine it will drive perfect till about 30mins or so then it will start that jerkin stuff. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the battery and the same thing happened. The only difference is thatit reset the CE Light but when the jerking came back the CE Light also came back on........help me lol...im only 20 to help me as beat as u can lol and yes iam mechanically skilled
