Please help: I'm installing a new Timing Belt on my 98' 2.5 L Millenia. What is the correct allignment for the right and left camshafts and the crankshaft?

John! The cam pullys have yellow marks (knock pins) on them when you pull the plastic covers off. They align with the marks on the cylinder head. Hard to see the ones on cylinder head. The cams have very small holes in them (looking in form the drivers side) that must align with each other. Both the right and left hand cams must be aligned.Rotate the crankshaft pully until the #1 piston is all the way to the top. Take your finger and put it on the top of the crankshaft pully. You should feel a notch in the pully (should be straight up). Just behind that you'll see a mark to aling it with. Good luck! You'll need it,its a bitch to get the covers off.
