Hey, This seems like a great forum, i found it on google. I thought someone may be able to answer my fog light question. I just purchased a 2001 Millenia and one of the fog light's bulbis out, I have the light replacement, but I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DISSASSEMBLE to put it in. Do I have to get a wrench and get the splash guard off of the bottom or what? Please help, it would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

I have a 2000 Mazda Millenia S and they are extremely easy to replace.
The manual that comes with the car is helpful, too.
The area around the foglights are easy to come off as they snap into place. No wrench needed.
Once opened, the light is housed with 4 screws (2 top and 2 bottom).
Unscrew them and pull the housing unit right out.
Simple as that - I changed one on Saturday in about 2 minutes.

I looked and nothing will pop off, are you sure it is the same body style because i got this car used and got the 2000 model manual with it and it is not the same shape as it is in the manual

 

Have an 02 Milly. Left fog light went out. There is a 10mm bolt attached to a bracket. You have to go under the car and remove the bolt, light unit will then slide out from the front bumper. Be careful not to touch the new bulb when replacing.

 

hey Jap, I need to replace my fog light as well on my O2 milly. Is this a simple bulb replacement or do I need to replace the whole housing unit.

 

Pharad, if the bulb is just out then it should be a simple replacement. If the entire unit needs to be replaced follow the 1st step above to remove the fog light housing from the bumper then unplug the 2 wires and replace with new unit. Otherwise, just replace the bulb.
