Default Considering 2009 NC2 Touring... has Turbo badge?

Has anyone seen this before? Car looks to be in great shape, but there's a "Turbo" badge on each side in front of the door. Am I crazy or is that straight up goofy? Right? Was there EVER a turbo on a 2009 NC2 Touring?

Seems fishy. Or maybe I'm just ignorant!

Thanks,

navajas

There has been a multitude of special editions released by both Mazda & aftermarket tuners. Its possible. Only way to tell is pop the hood or bonnet.

Both Mazda Japan and Australia released a factory turbo model for the NB series.

Right on the NB, just never heard of such things on a C. Dude claims it's 100% stock and "not messed with by a bunch of young men". I get the sentiment, but, then, why is there an aftermarket erroneous turbo badge stuck on the side of the car? It would be a simple engine check... except the car is four hours and a ferry ride away from me. :-/

Hmm.

Thanks for your reply.

Ask for a photo of the engine bay.

Also ask for the Vin, then get Mazda to run the vin for you or get a "Info" search carried out.
