Default any help at all appreciated


can any one help, i just bought a mazda mx-5 mk1 1998 model 1.8i

the car was stolen and recovered without the key's so i went to the car breakers and got an ecu a coded key, ingnition and the immobiliser installed these to the car but it still wont start ,i am getting a spark from the plugs but i think the fuel pump and the injectors are immobalised any help would be appreciated

There is no 1998 Miata. Non were produced that year.

You problem could be one of many things since the car was stolen and the wireing has been damaged. First you need to restore all the damaged stuff and then if it does not start, look for other problems.

sorry forgot to mention that it was stolen with the key and recovered without the key with no valid keys thats the reason for the replacement of the ecu,immobiliser,ignition so no wiring damage was done

if it's an alarm issue, try unlocking the pass side door or trunk (this should work if it's factory or done by a good shop). have you tried wiping the memory by discon the batt overnight? not at all sure, just tossing ideas.
