My 2000 Miata last summer just stopped running. I used the info from this page. Replaced the cam sensor and thought I was done.
It ran fine for a while then same thing happened. This time I bought a factory sensor. Ran for 200 miles same thing. Got the original sensor
out installed it ran just fine. At this point I stopped driving it. Nearest dealer is over 100 miles from me. Any ideas? The car is a low mile garage kept car.

I'd have a close look at the wiring going to the sensor. It seems to be fine after you played around each time.
