I'm looking for some aluminum lift pads like these for my Mazda CX-5 but nobody seems to offer them. I was thinking that the manufacturing processes might be similar between it and the Miata for which pads are available. Can anyone tell me the ND Miata pinch weld flange dimension at the jack point? Photo below of the flange on my CX-5 for reference.
I've contacted ZL1 Addons about the dimensions of their product but haven't heard anything yet.
Why aluminum instead of high density rubber blocks which is safer to use to lift a vehicle on the pinch area that was specifically for a factory jack and other lifting equipment?
