So I am new to the Mazda CX-9 with a 2014 GT model. I want to know if anyone knows how to turn off the constant red display that is dead center of the instrumentation panel that shows what gear is being used. It’s a bit distracting and black electrical tape covering it is bothering my OCD. :-) Any way to turn this off?

 

What happens when you select info on the steering wheel? Does it change the dash layout?

 

There is no way to disable that, that I am aware of.
