Ok so here is the thing.. I have a 2004 mazda 3 hatch.. I have everything from the nav. system, 6-disc cd changer... i even have moving lights.. Now my question is WHY OH WHY did they leave the spot (to the right) on my raido display bar blank... I can see the outline of the a/c display but nothing will turn on.... It wouldnt bother me soo much not having it if i didnt have that blank spot.... Should i have it? how can i get it?

 

In a word, No.And you can't get it.
The '04's (like mine) didn't have that as an option nor was it even available then.They musta' been thinking ahead.
Frankly, it doesn't bother me. Not that I haven't given it some thought, but I have enough to do when driving to just not get slammed off the road by the other moron driver's out there. And, it's a pretty well known fact thatin general,driver's information systems are not that accurate anyway.

 

yep. i have that on my stereo display, too.

some people have modified that area with 'mazda' graphics and the like to fill up the negative space.
