Towing a poptop van with cx9

Looking to buy a 2020 Mazda CX9 Sport AWD to tow a light pop top van. Any suggestions on potential risks or weight issues to consider?

They are rated to tow a braked trailer/caravan of up to 2,000kgs. ( ie electric brakes ) otherwise it's only 750kgs for a standard unbraked trailer.

Most common 16ft single axle pop top caravans have a GVM ( gross vehicle Mass ) ( GVM is the fully loaded weight ) tow weight of 1200kg to 1600kgs.
