Default Is a sealant needed after spoiler work

I replaced the plastic piece that attaches to the inside of the spoiler.
Upon completion, does anything need to be sealed? If so, can I use silicon?

Many Silicone sealers are not exterior car part friendly.
There are specific sealers you should use.

Only you know the exact condition of the area of question so no one can really give an accurate answer without all the detail information needed to recommend what sealer to use. But I am sure will post anyway. lol .
This article is one of the better ones that you should read and use to help you decide what to use.
