Ok, So having the same prob as everyone else. Amber flashing start button. seems like battery dead. I disconnected and left it. If it doesn't solve the problem, then I will have AAA replace the battery in my driveway.

BUT then what? Is this going to happen again when I'm stopped at a diner on the highway in the middle of a road trip? Should I go to Mazda and have them look at it? Do we know if there is a larger issue in the electrical system that is draining the battery?

Just don't want to deal with this again.
