I have a 2008 CX-9 and the fan problem just surfaced a few days ago.

I had the same issue intermittently in my 2007 for the past year and a half or so. A few months ago I ordered the new relays per TSB (light blue), installed in 2 minutes and since have not seen the problem reoccur. If you are having this issue I recommend replacing them to resolve.

Thanks, wrencher. Got the parts for my 2007 CX-9 too. Problem solved. It started right after the air bag recall was done when I brought the vehicle in for another issue.

Oh, there was still networking before the internet. It was just a lot slower and usually one-on-one communication.
You had to do more "homework" back then.

Olga...read the whole thread. A TSB was published quite awhile ago for the blower/fan issue. There's an inexpensive and simple fix. You need to replace a heater relay. The relay part number G115-67-730.

There's a TSB out on this, check with your dealer.
TSB: 07-008/09
