Did you end up buying the Kenmore and did it work? I would love to upgrade and have the same 2010 version.

I am planning on installing a Kennwood Nav system it uses the Garmin software and they have an adapter that will interface with Bose system so I will not need to cut any wire it will a plug and play. It will still allow the rear back up camera and rear dvd system to work and will also allow the aux jack to work in the center console. The aux audio and video input in the third row will work as well. As much as I like my CX-9 the Nav system is not up to par.
FYI, I just upgraded the stock headunit in my 2009 GT.
Parts used: Kenwood DDX9707S headunit Metra 99-7516B dash kit Axxess AXBUCHMZ6V reverse camera retention Pac-Audio RP4-MZ11 radio harness/interface iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR radio interface
Doing it with these parts retains all the OE functions lost when removing the factory headunit. The Maestro can be left out, as its only roll is to display the gauges.
All in all I like it. Still messing with the million settings.
The gauges are cool, but won't display transmission temp, which I like to monitor. Still deciding whether to go back to my bluetooth dongle/iPhone/OBD Fusion display or not.
I have to run the microphone up to the stock location and graft it into place, and make a mount for the 3mm audio and 2nd USB plugs. Will post all that whenever those get done.

I currently am trying to decide between pioneer and Kenwood for my 2010 cx9 st. My DVD drive is shot and my Bluetooth is so outdated it is temperamental I know it needs an upgrade. My question for you is, can you still see the temp control lights on display and knows? Is it just the info button that's affected by aftermarket units? Any and all information you can give would be appreciated.

Huh? Temp control lights? Nothing to do with the headunit. Info button and everything works as it should when you do the install with the right parts.

My apologies, I was trying to say **** lights. Just checking as I was told by many that any aftermarket wouldn't toggle info anymore, and it would be stuck on clock. So I'm out here looking for the answers, and bam here's the answer to keeping all functions. Thanks for sharing

Oh, the LCD display. The PAC module retains that; it doesn't display the radio station.
I just got a CX9 2 days ago and I think the navigation is fine.
I came from a stellar navigation system in a Jeep so I was a little worried. but i have no issues whatsoever.
