Default Body control module replacement 2008 cx9

The body control module on my 2008 mazda cx9 has
fried for the second time. Clogged sunroof tubes are a constant problem with this car.
the dealership charged about $800.00 to replace the first one This time I will be replacing it myself. I have the service manual, but the diagrams and wording are not the best. I ordered a used BCM off eBay that will be delivered soon. Can anyone point me to a YouTube video (or any video for that matter) that will help with removal/installation of the BCM SPECIFICALLY FOR A CX9?

The part number needs to be 100% exactly the same. Also it will need to be programmed into the vehicle.

I've yet to find a video or well documented article on the BCM. Here is the best info I have found on the topic.... https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/inde...ure.123729823/

hello grimreaper and thank you for the fast reply. I have done a bunch of research online and have read conflicting details about the reprogramming of the BCM. Your status as super moderator has got me thinking more towards needing to go back to the dealership.
WITH ALL DUE RESPECT (I really mean it) the eBay seller assured me it would work properly, going so far as to pay to return the item of it doesn't work 100% correctly. He mentioned "reprogramming" the windows to go fully up and down but assured me I would not have to go back to the dealer for reprogramming. Are you a mazda mechanic? Or do you have first hand knowledge of this specific problem? I really appreciate your help on this issue. This is my wife's car and I must be sure it is going to work properly. Thank you again.

bronco boy, I visited that site and got some good information about the BCM I'm trying to replace. The diagrams are helpful. Kinda strange I can't find a single video about changing the BCM, being that it is such a problem with A LOT of these vehicles.and to make matters worse, grim_reaper who is a super moderator here has stated that the BCM will have to be reprogrammed, at the dealer I assume. I wish there was a single place I could get step by step instructions and 100% clear answer about the reprogramming issue. Thank you for taking time to help out, I appreciate it.
