Default Bluetooth Voice Quality

I have a new 07 CX-9 with the Bluetooth and have paired my phone just fine - The problem that I am having is that everyone I speak to on it says I sound like I am in a wind tunnel - I had an Audi prior to the Mazda and the quality was great but with the Mazda it is too the point that I am going to go to a BT headset. Anyone else have the same issues with voice quaility. thanks

Default RE: Bluetooth Voice Quality

One issue with the blue tooth I noticed is that the position of the front air vents to the microphones is such that you have to make sure the vent are pointed down. It is very easy to get them pointed towards the microphones and have that result. If I have someone make that complaint, I point the vents down and have no further problems. Otherwise, everyone says they can't tell the difference when I'm on my phone or bluetooth.
