My touchscreen seems to be randomly resetting itself as I drive. Sometimes it still can hear the radio when this happens and the screen reboots. Sometimes it totally resets and music is cutoff then starts again. Can I fix this without going to the dealership.

Unless you have a high end scan tool that can communicate with the CMU to read fault codes, then no.

 

Does it go to the black reboot screen with what looks like it's loading or something? Signiture has NAV card right? Their is a TSB regarding continuous reboots from a bad card. Also check for CMU updates

 

Yes has nav. Reboots to Mazda logo and then continues normally

 

It's most likely a bad nav card in that case

I have replaced the nav card and it fixed the reboot problem.
Maz nav store was the vendor for the card.
