There was recently a problem with my 03 Tribute's ignition switch and it had to be replaced. Ever since, when I turn on the car the radio/6-disc cd player's lcd screen will sometimes show garbage characters. It doesn't happen every time, and when it does, I just push on the screen a little bit and it goes back to normal. If I don't push on the screen it takes longer. Does anyone know why it would do this? Thanks.

 

I have the same problem in my 2002. I didn't replace anything. It just started to happening. Did you ever find an answer?
