My 2025 cx70 has bugs in the system, it doesn’t always lock in this mode, even though I have it checked.

the mirrors fold even when it’s not checked. My dealership is not addressing the issue

 

This is purely an issue you should be taking your Mazda to a dealership (if your dealership did nothing make sure it was documented on your VIN service record) because of your WARRANTY.
If you are asking to advise on any related service or possible cure, then you should not be attempting to correct it.

I am sure it is something overlooked by you as a new owner but if not why take the chance.

That happens if the bluetooth chip can't connect to the remote. I've found my large iPhone is in the same front pocket it often times blocks the signal.

 

My iPhone 16 and my wallet and even another key fob in my pocket cause me problems with remote locking/unlocking.

 

Are you walking away quickly as the door shuts? You need to wait to hear the first beep then as you walk away you hear the second beep and doors lock.
