One of the upper “brackets” molded into the rear storage area side panels broke because the net is so tight. Anyone else had this issue?

I need to screw a bracket of some kind into the body sheet metal (like the OEM nets in every other car I’ve owned), so will investigate how and where to do that. Any suggestions on how to remove the interior panels to access behind it so I know what I’m drilling into?
