I recently had the timing chain done on my 2009 Mazda CX-7 2.2 Diesel.
1 day after collecting it the dpf light has started flashing yellow.

I had new oil in when the chain was replaced and it had a new sensor 2 months prior.

It also did a 180 mile journey without any dpf issues 2 days prior to the chain being replaced.

Any ideas?

I would take the vehicle back to the shop that worked on it for diagnosis. It could be something as simple as a oil data reset.
