Flashing dpf light came on today on way in to work , I followed a few online videos about how to force a dpf regen which seemed to work however on following the second video about how to clear the light it didn't work . I'm now stuck , I don't know what to do , can anybody please offer some advice .

Thanks for the welcome but I rushed here seeing a reply so was a little deflated

 

First step is getting the vehicle scanned for fault codes.

 

Done that , no codes whatsoever , just this flashing light , not in limp mode , no loss of power

 

What's the engine oil level?

How many kms/miles since the last service? How many months since the last service?

 

Engine oil level ok , between 2 marks . Last serviced last may , 87000 miles
