Exclamation Dropped my keys now car won't start

Hi,

So just now i got out of the car and dropped my keys to the ground. The remote opened up. I put it all back together. I can lock and unlock car but when i put it in ignition and turn the key to start the car i have this symbol of a car and an ignition key in the middle that keeps on blinking in the dashboard. What could possibly be the issue. Help me please.

Hi,
Probably you lose (damage) the immobilizer chip inside your key. In my previous car this chip was situated inside of the key, but separately from the key's plate (without electricity feeling).
Compare your damaged key with the good key. If they looks similar inside - so try to check all connections at the plate.
No any other ideas...
Now I have cx-7 with smart key system, so can't look inside the key
