Default Dropped keyless remote in water!

I own a 2008 Mazda 3. I recently dropped the Keyless Remote in water and it wouldn't work. Replacing battery didn't help. The dealer quoted $55 for programming! and $85 for a new remote!!! I checked online and found remotes (FCC ID: KPU41794) are avaialable for like $30 to $35.

I wanted to know:
1. Is there any trusted site where I can buy genuine new factory remote?
2. Will I need to take car to dealer for programming? Or the programming instructions listed on this forum would work fine with a 2008 Mazda 3?

Thanks in advance

Just purchased one from http://www.keylessremotesonline.com.
Hopefully, I should be able to program it myself.

Unless there's a change for '08 you'll still be able to program the remote yourself. Also while you're at it I suggest getting a spare key (~$18 from www.onliemazdaparts.com). The reason for that is if you have two programmed keys (in hand) then you can program in more keys yourself. If you only have two total and you lose one then you'll have to go to the dealer to get a replacement key programmed in.... and they'll charge you out the ***.
