My daughters CX-7 had a massive oil leak the other day while driving. A friend was behind her and called her because her car started creating a bunch of smoke. She pulled over. I came to inspect it and found oil all over under the hood even up on the intercooler. I checked the dipstick and it was about 1/2” up. I added 2qts and drove it slowly to a trusted mechanic nearby.
The mechanic just called and said the engine is blowing oil out of the dipstick tube at high rpm. He has tested the PCV. He does’t know what could be causing the problem.
I’m asking this group, any ideas?
