2010 mazda cx7 head gasket

2010 mazda cx7 head gasket
I have a 2010 mazda cx7 2.3 turbo, and need to replace the head gasket. What do you recommend? Also since it's a metal layered gasket and if I get the head shaved, do I need a super smooth finish?

Needs some clarity on what you mean by shaved head??/
The is surface machining for straightness is a little different the "shaving" a head is a term used for increasing CR.
There are no better or worse brands of head gasket for this head and platform. If McCord or Fel-Pro is available they are generally my first choices. But not necessary in this case of engine and what it is being used for.
