First off the owners manual are not written by engineers but

wow! I love funny threads from an owner that becomes the expert on his/her own thread? lol

The basic information is submitted by Mazda technical and engineering heads or specific individuals in charge of publication of those manuals. Often the wording is translated or re-written in laymen terms for "simplicity" for new owners to understand. Because ether is not in actual technical terms sometimes the meanings are easy reading. I can see if you were to actual read a true technical engineering automotive write up you would not understand 1.4 of its content. on this thread that best suits you and not necessarily epical or fact based. Maybe you best information is to contact Mazda Corp direct. For fun call them and talk to a engineer, they would love the entertainment value from you.
And yes, I do have direct experience in submitting a technical publication that my marketer summits them to the publisher that has a département to re-write it and then have independent ASE to check accuracy of fact based information and then back to me to make sure that epically based information was not changed. In the end submitted publication one would think I was another Ray Bradbury , Steven King or
Gene Roddenberry
Auto manufacture don't always do those kind of steps when publishing a owners manual.
It seems obvious to me that your goal is to mock me rather provide any useful help at all. What I'm asking is nothing crazy. I want this car to last and therefore, I would like to have a real number over which I can't push it, it's as simple as that. You think I'm a moron that should be made fun of for asking these questions, when your opinion of me means absolutely nothing to me, because you're just the last in a long line of internet trolls that prefer to make fun of people because it makes them feel superior for a moment, and go back to their miserable life as soon as the finish typing sarcastic little posts.

So feel free to ignore me from now, and if anyone has some well intended advice and opinions, please feel free to reply.

No I simply can recognize the ability of a member based on what they ask and what they respond with. You want all the answer and don't want to do the work to get there, and you really want an answer to adjust to your experience (more like inexperience) level of serving a vehcle. hate to tell you but it's like any other profession you need to learn by way of study and testing not trial and error unless you just like the error portion of learning!

Service shops are just going to cost you to pay an experienced person and or shop to do and this is not what you seem to think a service should cost or how to do it. And you want to place blame on Mazda for poor engineering? Really dude cuz you are an engineer?? I suggest that you look up in your state and city what the average shop hourly rate is. Then you can subscribe to a one month subscription (there is less but you need a month)to ALLData and learn the stated hour of a service and do the labor cost math what a service costs.
The other point is you come here asking for help and I didn't see many responding to your thread let alone a member that has real world and is in the automotive service industry.
And you are reading my responses WRONG as for how you think I am, you cant see that 99% of the time am shaking my head smiling and actually trying to help! You also cany hear my voice and demeanor but you are so quick to judge and then call me a troll. Sorry you are so thin skin and get butt hurt so easily. LOL Who is the troll really? on this thread? Apparently, you don't even understand what one is?

Good luck with your Mazda and I strongly advise you re-read what I posted for advise and without the attitude that you seem to have?

Oh and I will be following this thread and more response if you get any! I don't get intimidated nor do I care for be told or suggested what thread to follow and or respond on.
Now what is it you do professionally in the real world?

Blah blah blah blah blah BS, BS, BS and more BS. I won't bother reading more than two lines of your post, because with just two lines I can see your comments are not any different from the typical internet forum arrogant d-bag who thinks he knows better than the whole world and because of that treats others like retards. I wish there was a way to send people like you to another planet, but unfortunately there isn't, so I hope that at least this forum provides a way to ignore certain users that don't really provide any helpful information and enjoy berating others. Have a sad life.
