Default Yet another Nav Card question

Hi all, i have been lurking here for a short while. I recently bought a 2021 CX5 GT turbo and have already picked up several usefil tips so thanks for that!
i managed to decypher the SD card version required for the Nav system, ordered one and it arrived but it was not "Valid"
The one i got is the TD2K 66EZ1 , question is, is this the correct item for a Canadian model? I was wondering if the card i have may work in the US but not here?
Is there a fellow Canuck who can check their operational card model # for me pls? I dont want to order another one of the same thing only to find out it is a different # ?
Paying the over-inflated fee for the dealer model is not my first choice...

Thanks,

I do not know if this applies to all countries, but here in Denmark you lose the new car guarantee on all electronics if you do not use an original navigation map.

My US salesman told me - “off the record” - that I could buy a card off eBay to activate the Nav. No details, but the implication was it would work.

Ok good to know, that may eliminate the warranty issue. Next step is the SD card number different up here...

Thanks but does this apply to the up to 2020 models? I read some threads about which part number was used for 2021 and how the others did not work.. what i was hoping for was a Canadian 2021 owner to pop their working SD and write down the part number (and pop it back before the car catches on haha) to compare with our other findings.

This is the card I purchased from AliExpress for my 2021.5 cx 5 . Bought 2 of these both registered fine and updated on the mazda map tool Both cards are interchangeable .This is the card for 2021 cx 9 and 2021 cx 5 with the 10 inch display

TD2K 66 EZ1 cost of $27.29 shipped to Canada. Dealer wants in the $400 area. Card was plug and play.( Put the card in before starting the engine )Took a minute for the vehicle to recognize the card. But fired right up. It can only be used in the vehicle it is first put in. It locks to your VIN instantly and will show this on the mazda updater. Update can be done as soon as the card has been installed in the vehicle and is recognized. Card has free updates for 3 years from date of install of first card. Second and additional cards update expires the same date as the first card registered.
Card has been installed almost 3 months.
