I just purchased a brand new 2021 CX-5 Carbon AWD turbo for my daughter for college graduation and the only interior we were able to find in the Carbon version was the red/ wine color seats. My daughter really wanted the black seats. It is brand new, just handed over the keys yesterday, Sunday. Does anyone want to sell or trade the black leather seats for my wine colored leather seats?? Thanks...

 

Yep- that is a feature of the Carbon and the only color you can get. You can't get those seats in any other trim. I think they would look awesome in a Crystal White car (I think that is what they have in Canada on their special edition)

 

The 2021 CEs were available with either red or black seats.

 

Learned something new. I thought the red seats were part of the package.

 

The black was apparently available for a limited time due to slow delivery of the red seats. I test drove one with black seats, but bought one with red.

 

So I wasn't crazy then. I knew I read the red seats were part of the CE package. They had to make a running change...
