Wind noise
Mazda uses a computer simulation air flow program to develop their current line of most all their vehicles and NOT an actual wind tunnel (that I am aware of). Because of this and depending on the wind velocity and direction and your speed on any given day along with how sensitive your are to uncommon noises you might all encounter the annoying wind noise at some time? Its not a defect and there really is nothing you can do about it. I will say DONT BUY rain/wind deflectors. They work adequate at reducing rain in your face for those needing to have the windows down in the rain but they will actually increase wind noise because they are in direct air flow from the front glass and side mirror which cause a low pressure area to form and increased air noise at higher speeds above about 40 mph.

It's not a problem at least not a reported manufacturing to any specific model, model production country and VIN series related. It is also very hard to determine on a forum as this needs to be addressed at a dealership with a ride along with a service adviser or Trained Mazda certified mechanic so that you can tell the service person what it is you are hearing.
