Default Why is my mazda cx5 steering feels very tight to turn in cold weather compared to hot

Mazda cx5 2023 S carbon edition:Is there any problem with my electronic steering or any other systems related my steering wheel it gets tight when it has cold weather and loose when its hot outside. Is that a problem with my unit? Or any problem with any fluid viscosity due to cold weather?
checked after wheel alignment and runs with toyo tires that mazda gave

No there is no complaint like this....that I have read not saying somewhere on the WWW someone like you has mentioned it, but considering the 10's of thousands of MAZDA forum worldwide on several forums you are rare.
There is nothing wrong with the electrical power steering unit as it is the same unit design in many Mazda models and years.

You do realize that your tires have a lower pressure when cold then hot. As the temperature in the tires increases the steering may feel lighter to some that are more alert to small changes in characteristics of their vehicles. I am that way at least in that regard. .

As it is still under warranty the best advice is to go to Mazda and have them look at your steering, chassis, suspension! Oh and brakes!

The stock Toyo tires aren't very good but as Cali said, unless you have tire pressure issues, they shouldn't affect steering.
Battery issues can impact electric power steering, especially in cold weather.
