Hi from Tucson,

Our new CX-5: 1. lost steering wheel vibration and audible beep even though the LDWS is on. and 2. even stranger, occasionally flashes the orange steering wheel light when my wife is driving but not when I am behind the wheel. Is she sawing the wheel too much? There seems to be nothing wrong with the steering system. What about the LDWS beep?

I appreciate any insight from anyone. Thanks in advance!

Check settings and make sure it is set-up correctly.
Make sure you have not inadvertently changed the function with steering wheel "INFO" control button, it is easy to do this.

 

Thanks, I'll check it out. The owner's manual has a dizzying list of what to do but it does not say what NOT to do. User forums are the best for this. Thanks again!
